Board Design
|
|
|
| Experience in high speed digital / analog board design, bring up and debugging: |
| | | - | Boards with high performance processors: PowerPC / Intel Core, x86 / ARM / MIPS, Network processors, Switch fabrics, FPGAs. |
| | | - | Boards with high speed ADCs, DACs, Signal conditioning circuits, high performance micro-controllers. |
| Familiarity with high speed memory / peripheral interconnects: DDR3, Flash, SDIO, PCI, PCIe, USB 2/3, SPI, HDMI, DP, SATA, etc. |
| Familiarity with network interfaces: Ethernet / SONET / GPON / xDSL / WiFi / GSM / Bluetooth / Zigbee. |
| Familiarity with PCB design / simulation tools: OrCAD, Allegro / PADS / Expedition, HyperLynx. |
| Familiarity with hardware test equipment: High speed DSO, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer,Network Analyzers, Traffic Generators, etc. |

| |
FPGA Design
|
|
| Experience in design, development and verification of complex FPGAs. |
| RTL development in Verilog/VHDL. |
| Familiarity with Xilinx / Altera FPGAs. |
| Familiarity with Xilinx / Altera development / synthesis tools, ModelSim. |
| Familiarity with high speed interfaces: PCIe, SPI-4.2, SFI-4.2, Gigabit Ethernet, UTOPIA, POS PHY, USB2/3, DDR3, etc. |
| Familiarity with hardware test equipment: High speed DSO, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzers, Traffic Generators, etc. |
| Knowledge of high speed Microprocessors / Micro-controllers, L2/L3 switching, TCP/IP and other networking protocols will be advantageous. |

Embedded Software Development
|
|
|
| Experience in design, development, coding/porting, testing and debugging of embedded software components: |
| | | - | BSPs |
| | | - | Boot loaders (uBoot, etc) |
| | | - | Drivers |
| | | - | Diagnostics |
| | | - | Kernel mode components |
| | | - | Network protocols |
| | | - | Middleware |
| | | - | Embedded applications |
| Coding in C/C++, Shell Scripting, knowledge of HTML/GUI for embedded applications. |
| Familiarity with high performance RTOS: Embedded Linux / VxWorks / QNX / Nucleus WinCE & Other. |
| Familiarity with high performance processors: PowerPC / Intel Core, x86 / ARM / MIPS, Network Processors. |
| Familiarity with network protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP v2-v3, L2/L3 switching/routing, VLAN, VPN, RSTP, IGMP, 802.1x, GPON, etc. |
| Familiarity with performance testing and improvement to meet embedded system requirements. |
